Beach Road – Te Atatu Peninsula
This large family home in a popular location on the Peninsular had everything going for it except its Insulclad cladding. Aware of the stigma attached to plaster homes and suspecting moisture ingress issues, Licensed reclads were approached by the owners to reclad this property.
Comprehensive plans were drawn up by the architect. Existing high-risk areas were identified and re-designed and an addition was drawn at the family’s request to make the home more functional.
Our competitive pricing along with detailed tender and excellent references from the local community won us the job and we set about the task at hand.
Upon removal of the cladding, we discovered that the timber decay was more extensive than expected, likely a result of poor maintenance by the previous owner, which is essential to monolithic clad homes.
Our experienced team set about the timber remediation process quickly and efficiently, completing the project in good time and enabling the family to move back into their home. Everything has now been fixed and the home looks great in timber weatherboards! The family now has peace of mind knowing that should they wish to sell in the future their home will be appealing to prospective buyers.
