Reclad – Mt Eden
This case study shows a 1990’s Insulclad home in Mt Eden. Although this house had a good pitched roof design with eaves, it unfortunately had a butynol membrane deck and entrance way canopy both areas of which had failed resulting in significant rot in these areas. The fact that this house was clad in Insulclad cladding it was therefore perceived as a leaky home making this house hard to sell.
Licensed Reclads have now completed a full weather board reclad on this house fixing the problem areas and bringing this house up to current building codes and standards all done within budget.
Together with a new Code of Compliance Certificate issued and the new look of weatherboards and window facings this house is now back to being a very saleable asset.
